Every November 11th is a special day for all Americans to thank those that have protected this country while serving in the US Armed Forces. Regardless of political associations, religious beliefs, race, or color we must ensure they are all thanked for their service to the country.
Many have served during peace time and sadly at this time most have served during war time. But regardless of the time or place they have served they all were and many are still willing to give their lives to protect this country’s Constitution, people and way of life. They all knew the sacrifices they face, the hard times, the low pay, and the stress it placed on the family during deployments.
So please take the time today to thank a veteran (past, present and future) of our military and let them know you appreciate their service. Also remember those that are no longer here, may they rest in peace.
