Yes I know many of you will say, “This can’t be true… I’ll check Snopes and see if it is?” Well go ahead or just click on one of the many links below that goes directly to the White House’s “We the People” site. The state that is the closest to having the required signatures is Texas with just under 7,000 more to go at the time I wrote this blog. Some may say that this can’t happen, but it has in the past before. Right before the Civil War many Southern states left the Union. At that time the South grow the majority of the food and textiles so it hurt the nation to the point the Civil War broke out. Today some of these states may have a harder time on their own but some like Texas could be fine with their oil supplies. Some may also say that these states won’t survive they wouldn’t have the federal government to help them or protect them. Well, they would be free of the taxes the government collects and their currency would change and be valued differently and clearing them from the overhead of the federal government.
Well in either case, if they do secede at the secession petitions I will say it could very well start the next civil war in this country.

I love it! The first Federal judge to rule that ObamaCare is un-Constitutional! It is about time!
U.S. District Judge Henry E. Hudson stated that it exceeds the constitutional boundaries of congressional power. That the federal government has no power to force people to buy health insurance, let allow for health insurance that meets certain levels. I love this for a couple reasons.
- I want smaller and less government.
- Doesn’t create more debt of this country.
- This law has already increased the cost of health care in increased policy prices and equipment.
The only problem is that this is only the first step in overturning ObamaCare in the court system. But if it is held up in the Supreme Court, then no law simular will be created in the future.
Now as for BHO still thinking the Constitution give him full power of the states… Well he needs to reread the Constitution and see that in the 10th Amendment it states that states do not have to enforce or adopt non-Constitutional laws, i.e. federal laws. The only Laws of the Land that the states are to uphold and follow are those of the Constitution. So for BHO to allow some states to request an exemption to any law let allow ObamaCare…. Well he can try to force the states, but has no Constitutional power to do so.

I find this story to be rather un-nerving, scary, and funny… Yep I said funny…
First let me say that it is scare and un-nerving because this is pretty much a huge BIG BROTHER issue. Just like they (Federal Government) keep doing and doing over and over again… They tell you the voter that it won’t affect you and that it is better to be safe than sorry… Well I say bullshit. Just like gun control, they say less guns in people hands means less likely a criminal will be able to get one… Well the criminal isn’t going to be getting their guns with legal processes, only those that follow the laws will be… So just like the gun laws, terrorist will just steal their cell phone, use disposable cells, create email accounts randomly and etc to get around being caught… Pretty much like they do now…
So…. Yep the changes will only affect your Constitutional rights and do little if anything to finding and capturing a terrorist.
Now for the funny part… When President Bush signed the Patriot Act… Wasn’t it the Democratic screaming foul??? Now most true conservatives then like now see them both as what they are… BIG BROTHER’s way of gathering information about it’s citizens under some bullshit view that the government is only trying to protect you…

Now I have a problem with this… First, why hijack a good bill and add something that has little bearing on the original bill. Second, this is an immigration amendment. While I don’t support the college part, I am 50/50 on the military clause because these people are willing to serve and die for the country they want to be a part of…
Should we have a have more immigration laws created… Nope, we should be enforcing the current laws. But of course we can see where the liberal side wants to take it… They want to give amnesty to those that broke the laws in the first place. True, kids that came to the country should not be considered criminals because of what their parents did. However without preventing them to gain citizenship, wouldn’t you try to enter the country to give your child citizenship? I say just don’t deport them as a criminal and allow them to enter the US as their parents should have.
How do I know the Federal government doesn’t really want to support the current laws… Well just look at the fact of how they have not read the Arizona law that was passed over immigration that simply states the same thing as the Federal law… They are instead of embracing the law and picking up enforcement of the Federal laws they are trying to over turn the Arizona laws…
As for the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” part of this amendment… As a former service member I don’t have a problem with gays in the military. What I do have a problem with is them serving openly in the ranks. The reason I have this issue is because of morale and safety issues. True 99% of service members would never assault a fellow service member, but like any population basic you have some that would. Then the morale of many would be broken due to the fact they would have to share rooms, bunks and foxholes with an openly gay person… So I believe at this time the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” clause is still a good thing.

http://info.sen.ca.gov/bilinfo.html then search for bill AB962.
Oppose AB962 Now!
This bill will do nothing to protect the honest hard working Californian. By restricting the access and purchasing of ammo by the law bidding citizen, it does nothing to stop the criminal that buys their guns off of the black market, smuggles them into the state, or steals.
The only thing is does is force honest citizens to jump through more hoops to purchase what is protected to them via the US Constitution.
What it does so is increase the spending the state will have to do to compile the data collected on law bidding citizens when that purchase ammo for guns that have already been registered with the Federal government. So even if this does pass by your signing it, the criminal is still unchecked because they will just purchase both weapons and ammo on the black market.
Then as for banning the purchasing of ammo from the internet or mail order goes, Mr. Governor, it is an infringement of the Constitution of the United States Article 1, Section 8, Clause 3: “To regulate Commerce with foreign Nations, and among the several States, and with the Indian Tribes” and of Article 1, Section 8, Clause 7: “To establish Post Offices and post Roads”
Both of these give the Federal Government the power and no the state to regulate both the commerce between states and the Post Office and not the states.

If he is in charge of the safety in schools, I don’t want my kids in the public schools!
I would like to know how it is that Obama feels a man that promote any type of sex in schools, had abused drugs, and believes it is ok not to criminals who have sex with underage minors is a god choice for the “Safe School Czar”. Of couse I once again want to know why the federal government believes it should be in our local schools in the first place?

You gotta love the Texas State government!! Now if we can just get the other border states to do the same thing. The sad part is that per the Constitution the federal government is responsible for the protection of the countries borders. It should not be the states that protect the country’s borders. But hell Governor Perry has it right, if the feds won’t do it then the states should. Bravo!!! Great job Governor Perry!!
