How to treat Women and be a real Man

Well I don’t normally blog about relationship type issues, not really my thing… But I have had enough of hearing about jerks that think they are real men and treat their ladies like crap! No I don’t have a problem with my single female friends telling me their problems but it pisses me off that so many ladies have had such jerks in their lives. And well yes it makes it harder for those of us good guys looking for a great lady to spend our time with.

So what happened to the time when men treated their girlfriends and wives with the same respect that the gave their own mother and expected their sisters to be treated like? Good question but according to my female friends it is harder to find a guy that will even just open a door for them let alone treat them like give them a rose once in a while. Nope these great guys tend to be more interested in the football game on Sunday than to woo their mates, than to show her that she is their life. These guys instead treat their ladies like they are property more than loves of their lives, more like a housekeeper than a friend, wife, or mother of their kids…

So what have I been told from my female friends? Well they have had been with guys that were controlling, some abusive, and many were cheaters. They wouldn’t let their ladies leave the house or spend time with their friends, but she better be fine with him going to the local bar with the guys… In their grand idea of what a woman should be doing was staying home taking care of the kids and making sure dinner was on the table. This of course allow these jerk that think that they were men to go off and have affairs, drink and all in all act like high school never ended… BULLSHIT!

Now you would you would think that once the relationship was over that the shit would end or at least most of these nice friends of mine would be able to move forward… Yeah right! Between getting some to pay child support and others as simple as signing over pink slips, these jerks can’t just get over the fact it is over. Just this weekend I found out that a couple of these jerks are have been tracking one friends moves via GPS in her phone, another friend’s ex got into her accounts and changed her passwords, and another one that was supposed to sign over her car to her… well he threw a fit and didn’t show up as he was driving pass her house on his way out of state… But it also seems that most of these great guys who had little to do with their kids before, well…. now they must see their kids and Lord have mercy if she is running later to drop them off. Yep, they all of a sudden are fathers that must see their kids… However I know of at least one that when he gets his kids, well he goes and does whatever he want while his mommy takes care of them.

So why does this piss me off so much? For starter, these female friends are good people that are just trying to raise their kids. They are looking for a real man, but are scared because of the number of jerks to real men ratio… It isn’t their fault and I can’t blame them…It just makes it hard for the good guys that want to treat  a lady like they should be treated.  As the Bible says, “Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it” Ephesians 5:25.  And men also need to realize that when the Bible says, “Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.” Ephesians 5:22,  it doesn’t mean for her to just sit by wanting on him. No it mean that they should act as one with the man leading the “family” towards the Lord.  And futher, Ephesians 28-29 states, “28 In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. 29 After all, no one ever hated his own body, but he feeds and cares for it, just as Christ does the church—”

So why is it so hard for these men to see that these women are not property, their not just some person they use as a status… No they are to be their partners in their families… They are to be treated like they would want to be treated and as he would love them as Christ to the church.
