Reduce the arsenal?

Okay I am confused here. First Obama stops the missile defense shield in Poland and the Czech Republic. Now he wants to cut our nuclear arsenal… Well that sounds great if we got rid of North Korea, Iran, Russia, Pakistan, India, and other rogue states that have or close to having nuclear weapons.  But what in the hell is he doing by making these changes?

Well for starters he is making us weaker and less able to defend our country if one of those rogue nations decides to attack us. Just last week it was reported that Iran was working with Chavez in Venezuela to create a back up nuclear facility in South America. Now, didn’t JFK stop the Former Soviet Union from doing that very same thing in the 60′s? Well let me see, the last real Democrat who cared for the US sure sounds like a Republican of today.

Way to go! Betray our Allies!

Way to go Obama! Two of our long time allies are now being betrayed by reversing course on the missile defense shield. By siding with Iran, and yes that it what he is doing, Obama has now left two of our allies high and dry. Just like the story read, Russia has been trying to bring the Iron Curtain out of retirement since last year. Anyone remember the Russian invasion of Georgia? They didn’t care about the people of Georgia or the other countries that use the gas pipeline they cut off. That was the beginning of the old Soviet Union coming back to power. So what does Obama do for his friends, he removes the missile defense shield. Oh, all that and now the UN is coming out with the fact that Iran can NOW make a nuclear bomb!! Yeah that’s the ticket.

I believe this is a huge mistake at a time that Russia seems to be heading back to the former Soviet Union, Iran is getting ready, if not already  have built a nuclear missile, and North Korea is still a threat to the European countries.

Now I have read a number of the links above and found that is seems that both Poland and the Czech are mixed on the idea. Many are glad to see the shield not to be built do to their idea it would protect them from terrorist attacks, yet, they don’t seem to remember that the terrorist aren’t not worried about dieing. As such, the missile defense shield would have at least gotten any missiles that could have been launched from the rogue nations. We know that Iran is one of these nations and has threatened many times to attack any non-Muslim country.

Why do we need the missile defense shield? Well the first answer is to protect our European allies. We have made pacts many years ago to help keep the peace in Europe. Second, terrorist don’t care about the missile defense shield. Nope they will just perform the attacks with or without the missile defense. The people in those countries have to realize that the terrorist will attack them regardless if the shield is there or not.
