Ok, let me get this straight…. Brad Pitt was against the death penalty but is willing to reconsider it because of the BP Oil Leak…

So in his view a child rapist / murder, a person who kills and dismembers someone else, and a person that kills a woman to take her unborn child as their own should not be executed and didn’t make him rethink his views on the death penalty… Nope not important enough for him…

So what makes this great moral person to change his views of the death penalty?

He is rethinking his view because of the BP Oil Leak. Yep he would consider the death penalty for the loss of non-human life. I am not sure if he thinks the environment or the loss of some peoples jobs… In either case it isn’t because some murderous person slaughtered hundreds or tortured a child… Nope life isn’t important enough to rethink the death penalty…
